The 4th Investing in Africa Forum will open in Changsha in the second half of this year, according to an executive meeting of Hunan Provincial People's Government held on June 10, Hunan Daily reports.

A series of important sessions, including the opening ceremony and keynote speeches, high-level roundtables, themed forums and investment promotions, will be staged at this year's forum.

Representatives, experts and scholars will hold discussions and share their experience on agricultural modernization, culture and education, new energy development, healthcare, and digital economy and innovation.

The forum will be organized jointly by China's Ministry of Finance, Hunan Provincial People's Government, China Development Bank and World Bank Group.

The event is an important outcome of the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) held in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2015. It is hosted annually by China and African countries in turn.
