Terminal 1 of Changsha Huanghua International Airport is expected to re-open for business starting May 16 after a seven-year renovation, according to Hunan Airport Management Group Co., Ltd, icswb.com reports.

This means that the airport will have an annual passenger throughput of around 30 million with two terminals and two runways in operation.

Airliners, including Air China, Tibet Airlines and Okay Airways, will mover their services to the terminal.

Newest civil aviation information system, as well as self-service check-in and security check equipment, will be applied.

The terminal, which was closed for renovation in 2011, will have a capacity of around 4.6 million.
