Flex builds intelligent manufacturing industrial park in Changsha

Flex Ltd, a U.S.-based multinational tech manufacturer, breaks ground on an intelligent manufacturing industrial park in Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province, on April 17, icswb.com reports.

The industrial park, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan, is located in Wangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone.

The company will work with Huawei, a leading Chinese global information and communications technology solutions provider, to build a manufacturing base focusing on production of smartphones and other intelligent electronic products, with full implementation of"Industry 4.0" standards.

The industrial park is expected to be put into operation in September 2019. Its first phase will generate an annual output value of 10 billion yuan and create over 10,000 job positions after its completion.
