Hunan will exert great efforts to develop in place around 20 industrial parks with annual output value of no less than 100 billion yuan by 2020, according to the Opinions on Implementation of Accelerating Reform and Innovation Development of Industrial Parks recently issued by the General Office of Hunan Provincial People's Government, voc.com.cn reports.

The province will strive to increase the number of national industrial parks to around 25 and forge 20 industrial clusters with output of no less than 100 billion yuan by 2020.

The added value of industrial enterprises above designated size in its industrial parks will account for more than 70 percent of the total of all industrial enterprises above designated size.

New and high technological industries will take up more than 60 percent of industries in all industrial parks.

It is expected that there will be ten national high-tech industrial development zones and 40 provincial-level high-tech industrial development zones by 2020.

The opinions stressed the industrial parks will take industrial development as the core, attach great importance to raising quality and efficiency, and improve business environment.
