Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industrial Park broke ground on Dec. 20 with the aim of building the largest and best video industrial park in China.

The industrial park, dubbed "China's Video Valley," is located in Kaifu District of Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province.

The industrial park comprises a five-square-kilometer core area and an area of around ten square kilometers for future expansion.

Integrating culture with high technology, the industrial park will focus on digital video content production and offer relevant services covering the whole industrial chain.

Construction on the first two projects--Mango Mansion of Hunan Broadcasting System, one of China's largest media groups, and TVZone.cn Corporation's headquarters-- were launched on that day.

The creative and cultural business hub will create up to 100,000 job opportunities and its initial output value is expected to hit 100 billion yuan after its completion, according to industrial insiders.
