China.org.cn

The photo taken on Dec. 12, 2017 shows an aerial view of the early architectural complex, including the magnificent auditorium, at Hunan University in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan Province. The cluster of buildings has entered the second heritage list for architectural structures built in the 20th century, which was jointly released by China Cultural Relic Academy and Architectural Society of China. So far, a total of 198 architectural projects, including the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, have been included into the list. The Martyrs' Shrine at Mt. Hengshan in Hunan was among the first batch listed for better protection of traditional Chinese architectural structures. [Photo from hunan.gov.cn/Translated by Zhang Junmian]
