Xiangtan National High-tech Industrial Development Zone

Established in 1992, Xiangtan High-tech Industrial Development Zone is a key high-tech zone with an area of 46.8 square kilometers. It currently hosts 1,137 enterprises.

Development priorities of the zone include new energy equipment manufacturing, electromechanical engineering and steel products processing.

Changsha National Economic and Technical Development Zone (CETDZ)

Founded in 1992, Changsha National Economic and Technical Development Zone (CETDZ) is located in the eastern suburbs of Changsha, the capital of Hunan. The development has a planned area of 105 square kilometers and consists of three industrial parks in Xingsha, Langli and Huanghua.

The development zone is home to 1,600 famous Chinese companies such as Foton, Changfeng Motors and Lyrun New Materials. Thirty-one Fortune 500 companies including LG, Philips, Danone, Mitsubishi, Nissho Iwai, Coca-Cola and Bosch, have invested here. The area’s gross industrial output hit 163.7 billion yuan in 2014.

Development priorities include construction machinery, automobile and auto parts manufacture and information technology industries.
